Brian has done realy well over the years and i am proud of the fact that he has taken on more than just his own problems. After his time at home trying to go in the right direction he has learnt alot not just about himself but others to, and has taken time out to help more younger members of our community about not making the same mastakes that he did in his younger life. Brian is now moving forward with his life taking on not just the younger members but older ones to sometimes the older generation look down at the homeless and dont tend to think much of them but again, Brian has steped in and changed that he now plays darts with some older members of our community and has also got funding for them for laptops and he now shows them how to shop online. He also takes time to see the homless on the street and takes food to them as he knows what it like first hand he has also been on BBC Radio Cornwall taking about many topics that he and the truro Foyer are doing to help others.Brain no longer lives at Truro but still contiunes to carry on his passion to help both young and old Well Done Son

Dad

PS Keep up the good work and who knows ware it will take you.

"The Take Part Network has been appointed to lead on the mentoring scheme as a support and shared learning approach for pathfinders"

I'm interested in learning more about the Take Part Network. Are there resources available on the West coast?

Hello,

I have just come across your website and really like the idea of Take Part Cornwall. I would like to find out what volunteering opportunities you have available. Myself and my partner are spending the summer WOOFing in Cornwall, I am a qualified teach and have recently been managing an education centre, and have lots of experience in Community Radio.
I am very interested in community education, and doing events, groups, etc
Thanks!

After hearing Brian talk at the Be Heard Get Involved event and I was very impressed. He is clearly a very talented young man with a lot to offer his community. Well done Brian

After reading this article, I have felt very inspired. I have known Brian for many years now and am proud to know him as I respected member of his community. I myself do not work as I am registered disabled and currently signed off indefinately, although reading articles like this inspires me and I know that when I am healthy again, I myself will give back to society what they are currently doing for me. I to would like to work in the public sector as I registered nurse, and Brian has reminded me that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I am sure that with the determination that Brian has, he will succeed in his goal of becoming a police officer, and will be very successful in his career. This proves that people can change, and that when life gets really tough, there is a way forward... Brain is living proof of this and I wish him only the very best for the future.
